The community events and programs committee plans free family events for our school community. In addition to determining what events the PTA will sponsor, the committee members work with outside vendors and partners as needed; coordinate use of the building and facilities with school staff; publicize and promote the event; coordinate event volunteers and manage the event itself, including set-up and clean-up.
The spirit wear and school kits committee runs both drives. Volunteers will assist with selecting vendors and options available for sale, collect payments, and distribute purchases.
The Nantucket Elementary School PTA is planning another fun-filled school year. There are many events and activities throughout the year that require your help to plan, coordinate, and staff. Please consider volunteering. Many of these options only require a few minutes or an hour of your time. Whether you have one hour or one hundred, any help is greatly appreciated!
