SUMMARY:Boosterthon Fundraiser
DESCRIPTION:Save the date and lace up for the Nantucket ES PTA Boosterthon. The Boosterthon will run (no pun intended) from October 14-22\, 2024. The Fun Run is scheduled for October 22. \nThe Boosterthon is a healthy and fun way for the NES PTA to fundraise. The PTA’s goal is to raise $30\,000 for an outdoor classroom\, assist with school supplies\, and sponsor PTA community events. \nThe Boosterthon is easy. Share the MyBooster.com link with family and friends. Donors can pledge of a flat fee or give any dollar amount for every lap completed during the Fun Run. Students will run up to 35 laps. \nWhat better way to start Boosterthon than with Pajama Day? On October 14\, Starfish can come to school in their coziest pajamas and get ready for an exciting kickoff to this year’s event. It’s going to be a fun and comfortable day—they won’t want to miss it! \nOctober 22\, Starfish will arrive to see their school’s field (weather permitting) or gym transformed into a speedway. The family-friendly DJ elevates the energy level to astronomical proportions\, and with electricity in the air\, our students will run up to 35 laps. At the end of the Fun Run\, laps are tallied\, smiles abound\, parents snap pictures (send photos of your Starfish to nantucketelementarypta@gmail.com for the yearbook)\, and students have participated in great fun.
